On of the first accomplishments was working for Saudi Royal Family. This took place in the early 1980’s when the pediatrician was still in the early part of his career. It was a rewarding experience for doctor and his family. Dr. Saad Saad has invented two patents that are widely used in the medical field today. He believes invention is the mother of necessity, so he got to work. The first invention is a suction device attached to endoscope. Why is this so important?

When doctors use endoscopes they have to remove them from their place to suction out the fluids in the patient’s body that get in the way of their eyesight. This makes the whole process more tedious and takes a lot more time. With Dr. Saad Saad’s invention, they don’t have to lose their eyesight. This makes the procedures a lot more efficient and comfortable for physicians and patients alike. The other invention helps doctors find catheters in their patient’s bodies. This electromagnetic location device provides doctors with another option rather than doing an X-ray or MRI.

Dr. Saad Saad list of accomplishments does not end there. He has performed thousands of successful surgeries for children all over the world. The pediatrician is all about giving back to those less fortunate. He has been on 12 medical missions to help children in need. The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund has approached Dr. Saad Saad on many occasions to give life-saving surgeries to children from his home country Palestine and Jerusalem. Four of these missions happened in the United States where children were flown to him, and the other eight medical missions required the pediatrician to fly to Palestine and Jerusalem. Dr. Saad Saad was thinking quite strategically when he went on these medical missions to Palestine. He helped the children, the economy, and new pediatric surgeons learn more about how to care for patients.
